December Feature Spoke N-Words

Meet Spoke N-Words (his friends call him Spoke):

No publications, no certifications, no degrees…just a knack for speaking inwards. Spoke is a raw slam poet who insists on pushing boundaries while being a versatile topical writer. A local poet out of Antioch, TN, Spoke gained momentum after winning the VOX Poetry Slam in 2017. Since then he has featured in multiple Nashville-based shows such as The Vanguard, Poetry In Motion live, “We the Hidden People” at Vanderbilt University, Wine & Rhymes, and the Loft at Ella Jeans. Last but not least, Spoke is a brand ambassador of a poetry corps called Po’ Boys & Poets that consists of 13 members. Po’ Boys maintains a weekly poetry show every Friday in Antioch with live music, an open mic, and a featured act.
