November Feature Landrew Sevel

Landrew Sevel is a poet, aspiring circus artist, and mental health worker based in Nashville, TN. They enjoy hearty muffins and dark chocolate, though rarely at the same time. They had their start performing at Poetry in the Brew in 2018, have read at the Nashville Independent Poetry Festival, and are a contributor to Sinew: 10 Years of Poetry in the Brew. They find solace in movement and study trauma, pain, and the body.

If you’re in the Centennial Park area tomorrow, we’re cohosting another Poetry Popup starting on the Parthenon steps at 1pm. We look forward to seeing and hearing you soon!

Email host Christine Hall with questions, requests, or suggestions:

Thank you for supporting Poetry in the Brew! Pick up a copy of Sinew: 10 Years on Poetry in the Brew in our shop (where you can catch part 2 of Landrew Sevel’s indelible poem “Hands.”) We welcome tips and donations as well: Paypal @poetryinthebrew, Venmo @ChristineRaquel, or Cash App $PitBNash.
