About Poetry in the Brew

***in person readings on hold *** * *** join us weekly on zoom***

Nashville’s longest running open mic poetry event, Poetry in the Brew celebrates 9 years in 2020. We welcome poets, spoken word artists, and storytellers to support one another and share in turn.

Held at Portland Brew East, upstairs in the coffeehouse’s loft, a rotating art show provides the backdrop for this intimate space.

On the second Saturday of each month, sign up for the open mic is first come first served, starting at 5:30pm. Reading is from 6:00 until 8:30pm.
