Alyssa Nicole Tepfenhart, professionally known as Lyss Hart, is a poet, writer, and songwriter originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Lyss moved to Nashville in 2019 in pursuit of songwriting, but quickly found her home amongst Nashville’s spoken word and poetry scene. Her work is raw and hits topics such as love, abuse, feminism, family dynamics, and mental illness. Lyss is in the process of publishing her first book, The Light Will Reappear Where It Once Left Me, which she hopes to release later this year. Breaking barriers on what society may deem as taboo, she is a spokesperson for the unheard and uses her voice to empower those struggling with self-love.
